Glenwood is the site of an active academic based research effort. Thousands of documents relating to Glenwood residents and others in the Kanawha Valley are under review and are being cataloged under the supervision of faculty from West Virginia State University and Marshall University Graduate College. Students from both universities are participating in the effort.

Because of the current research effort public access to the collection is not possible. As documents are available electronically they will be posted to the web site.
